pro.manchester is connecting the F & P sector with the digital, creative and media sector in Greater Manchester by launching a new group and a fresh series of events for 2010. 
   
creativeThe objectives are to raise awareness, understanding and boost business links between the two sectors.

The initiative will help digital, creative and media companies equip themselves with the necessary business and financial skills to generate growth. Professional and financial firms will learn how to compete in the new digital economy.

On Tuesday 20th April a launch event featuring Manchester-based experts entitled: ‘Earning a buck in the digital age: three ways to spoil your day’, will be held in partnership with Manchester Digital and hosted by Halliwells LLP.
   
A panel of experts from digital agencies and professional and financial firms will debate the 21st century dilemmas that face the two sectors.

Sitting on the panel will be: Shaun Fensom , Chairman of Manchester Digital, Nick Rhind, MD from Web Development Agency CTI,  Simon Wharton, MD Virtuaffinity, Steve Kuncewicz,  pro.manchester board member and IP & Media Lawyer Halliwells LLP, Coral Grainger,  Innovation Activist Manchester Knowledge Capital,  Philip Hemsted,  MD at Business psychologists Psycuity
