Describe your day job
Corporate finance lawyer advising on M&A transactions, public company takeovers, listings and fundraisings. I am responsible for winning and delivering new business for existing and new clients and targets, as well as leading and developing a team of junior lawyers. No two days are ever the same, with demands from clients taking precedence over pretty much all else. The working day can be very long and last well into the night, often with very little notice. That said, I get to play a lot of golf and attend lots of marketing events, so it's not that bad really!!
