Describe your day job
As an audit partner I have responsibility for the external audits of a portfolio of clients – of different sizes and in different industries although I specialise in retail and healthcare clients. This brings me into contact with a wide range of people from MDs and FDs to Board directors and means that I deal with a wide range if issues – from audit judgements to dealing with accounting developments. I also advise clients on a whole range of other areas and ensure that they can access KPMG’s wide range of services from tax to systems development and corporate finance. In addition to my client facing role I am involved in business development, leading and coaching staff and maintaining quality.
