Describe your day job
As head of office, I have responsibility for clients and staff of the Manchester office and also for developing the office within our region. Day to day, I keep in touch with all the market feeling, news and developments and apply that to best effect for the wide range of investment management services we offer our clients. Aside from this, and as part of the Brewin Dolphin group, my position involves shaping and feeding back on firm-wide policy and initiatives. Very interesting stuff!
Biggest professional achievement
Past Chairman of pro-manchester (naturally) though Chairmanship of London Stock Exchange's North West Regional Advisory Group and flotation of Man Utd come close!
