With the global market slowing and business in some export markets drying up, the attention of many UK companies is turning towards the Gulf, in particular to countries like Qatar whose economy continues to grow at a significant pace. 

United Arab Emerates- 20-27 November
The United Arab Emerates (UAE) is the UK's largest export market in the Middle East and with exports at around £3.6 billion.

Business Development Visits

7th December
Sophie De Bodisco is  Senior Trade Advisor from the Paris Embassy focusing on Financial and Business Services and will be available on Monday 7th December, Sophie can offer North West companies insight into trading with or investing in the French market, and provide general advice on exporting to France. 45 minute 1-1 slots are available to meet with Sophie to be held at Warren Bruce Court in Trafford Park. to arrange please contact martin.fahy@uktinorthwest.co.uk

9th December
Mark Ellam is the Director of Trade and Investment from the Embassy in Doha, Qatar and focuses on Financial and Professional Services. Mark will be available on Wednesday 9th December and can offer advice on supporting financial services sector businesses with an interest in Qatar, and will provide help, briefing or assistance to businesses in other sectors. 45 minute 1 to 1 slots are available to meet with Mark to be held at Churchgate House, Oxford Road. to arrange please contact martin.fahy@uktinorthwest.co.uk
