Banking on a brand revival
The chief executive of McCann Manchester will be talking to pro.manchester about the demise and potential revival of the financial services brand.
Sue Little will be speaking at a lunch on 16 April at The Lowry Hotel about the profound impact of the banking meltdown on financial brands – brands which used to be the trusted pillars of the community.
The focus of the event will be the need for financial services brands to restore faith through empathy, transparency and strong leadership.
Members of pro.manchester will be keen to hear about how they should be positioning themselves and adapting messages to address stakeholders’ changing needs.
Another issue for the sector is the new ‘architecture of brands’ as organisations have taken on new identities following mergers and acquisitions resulting from the global crisis.
Commenting on the event, chief executive of pro.manchester, John Ashcroft, said: “This is a great opportunity for our members to get an expert opinion on perceptions of the sector.
“Sue is a highly respected industry figurehead and we look forward to hearing her thoughts on the recovery of the financial services brand in the global marketplace.”
