Creativity and Christmas come together with future pro.manchester
Creativity and Christmas came together on Tuesday evening as future pro.manchester hosted their annual Christmas party, this year with the theme of 'Bring A Bauble'
Running as part of the Professional Innovator Programme of Events, attendees at the bash held at the luxury boutique hotel Great John Street were tasked with creating a bauble to hang on the tree. Attempts were varied, future pro.manchester committee member Alex Solk attempted to sway the judges with the largest bauble of the evening, whilst JMW's Jennifer Smith chose to dedicate her bauble to John Ashcroft adorning it with photographs of the pro.manchester CEO and proving just why he's 2011's Professional Innovator Baker Tilly's Paul Widger created his bauble version of a Higgs Boson.
In the end however traditional christmas styling won the day with judges Andy Poole of digital sponsors Weber Shandwick and Jackie Adams of sponsors Beever and Struthers, choosing a handmade drum decoration from Emily Savory of Baker Tilly (pictured left).
Over 90 pro.manchester members enjoyed winter pimms and canapes at the luxury hotel whilst some even braved the Manchester weather to take a turn on the rooftop terrace as festive celebrations continued late into the evening. While the event topped off another packed events programme for future pro.manchester in 2011, the Professional Innovator Challenge will begin with a bang with the first challenge being released in the first week of January 2012.
