Finnair Forecasting the Future For Business Travel

Finnair’s Corporate Communications and Public Affairs Vice President, Christer Haglund is flying into Manchester to give a special presentation on the outlook of European commercial travel.

At such a turbulent time in the aviation world, Mr Haglund will be shedding light on the winners and losers amidst rocketing fuel prices, slowing demand and the EU’s plans for the airline industry. Mr Haglund will also cover how, buzzwords of the moment, ‘credit crunch’, will impact financing in the industry.

Mr Haglund says,

“There is so much discussion around the future of the airline industry, it gives me great pleasure to be able to come to Manchester, one of our UK bases and present Finnairs’ perspective on this unstable period and examine what issues Finnair and other aviation leaders are facing during this time.”

Mr Haglund has been involved with Finnair for the last 8 years and has previously worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in various positions across the world.
