Replacement Capital This allow existing non-private equity investors to buy back some, or all, of another investor’s equity shareholding.
Turnaround Financing Here, a private equity firm buys or injects capital into a company that is either in financial difficulty or is in receivership.
Refinancing This is primarily used to reduce a company’s debt levels and hence free up some capital that can be applied to business activities.
Bridge Financing This is short-term private equity funding provided to a company that is generally planning to achieve an imminent flotation.
