MANCHESTER professionals and students are being urged to prove their innovative flair as future pro.manchester launches its Professional Innovator Challenge.

The organisation, which represents tomorrow’s leaders in the financial and professional services market, is hosting an innovative events programme this autumn to run alongside the challenge.

With an exciting line-up of speakers from an array of professional and entrepreneurial backgrounds, the programme has plenty to offer for rising stars.

Budding innovators from member and partner organisations, as well as the city’s student community, will be invited to take part in the competition from September 23.

The challenge includes a series of written challenges and entries will be judged by a panel of business experts. The most promising innovators will go through to the next stage which includes a grilling interview from leading industry figures.

This year’s panel will be made up of senior figures from the professional services industry, successful entrepreneurs and last year’s winner, chartered occupational psychologist Melissa Davis of Carter Corson.

Commenting on the Professional Innovator programme, future pro.manchester chairman Miles Rothbury said: “There is a huge amount of talent and innovation in the professional services community and this is our chance to showcase this.

“Professional Innovator is a perfect opportunity for professional and financial services experts to make their mark.”

The overall winner of the challenge will be crowned future pro.manchester Professional Innovator at an awards evening.
