Skills Programme

As a key part of pro∙manchester's commitment to improving skill levels in the city, we are working in partnership with the Greater Manchester Strategic Alliance (GMSA). Through this alliance, pro∙manchester members advise the universities and higher education institutions about the future skills needs of the sector and then work with them to make sure they deliver relevant training programmes in the workplace.

Suggestions from members have been taken up and developed into projects to help raise awareness about careers in the sector in Manchester and help students with the transition from study to work. This work is overseen by the Skills and future pro∙manchester committees.
