Welcome from Our Chairman Sue Webster, BT

For those of you who don’t know me, I work as a Programme Director for BT and serve on its NW Regional Board and I am also of course Chairman of pro.manchester!

Manchester’s rise as the first industrial city was made possible by entrepreneurs who triggered a self sustaining process of innovation and technological advancement.  This spirit and ‘can do’ attitude prevails still in Manchester and it is this belief that is driving my theme of innovation for this year.

Apart from my chosen theme, I will be supporting the team in achieving the other elements of our strategy, not forgetting that what underpins everything which pro-manchester does is its aim of ‘bringing business to you. The professionals
