Insider and pro manchester launch 2009's Young Professional Awards

The region’s future high flyers will be honoured at the annual Insider Young Professionals Awards ceremony this spring.

The event, which will be held at the Lowry Hotel on April 23, is now in its sixth year. It was created by pro.manchester and North West Business Insider to recognise the achievements of younger professionals.

Companies were invited to nominate any employees aged under 35 who had made a difference to their business within the past 12 months. Entries closed on January 30.

Categories included accountant, banker and financier, dealmaker, entrepreneur in professional services, lawyer, marketing and media professional, property professional and stockbroker/financial adviser.

A special contribution award, for the overall young professional of the year, will also be decided by the judges.
