The North West’s finest talents were honoured at the Young Professionals Awards last month.
The annual pro.manchester event – held in conjunction with NW Insider - took place on April 23 at the Lowry Hotel, with the region’s leading companies in attendance to see which professionals would receive recognition on the night.
David Hunt, digital director at Manchester design and advertising agency Creative Lynx, scooped the top award to be named Young Professional of the Year. He was also crowned Young Marketing and Media Professional.
Stuart Stead, of Cowgill Holloway, was named Young Accountant, Handelsbanken’s Ian Cubbin was announced Young Banker and Financier and KPMG’s Jordan Foster was named Young Dealmaker.
Young Entrepreneur in Professional Services went to Tony Woolley, of Campbell Woolley, and Halliwell’s James Pochin was named Young Lawyer.
Jon Lovell, of Drivers Jonas, was named Young Property Professional while the Young Stockbroker/Financial Adviser award went to Karan Sejpal.
A special contribution award for those who give something back was awarded to Simon Whitehead of Brabners Chaffe Street for his work with Business in the Arts, the Oldham Coliseum and the M6 Theatre Group.
