North-West-based integrated communications agency, The fresh Group has today launched a new service offering after a record year of performance in 2018.

The new division, called Alchemy, is positioning itself in the branded content and commercial space of the communications mix.

MD Patrick Howells, says “2018 saw a record year for the group since our MBO, winning new clients in new sectors through our integrated offering. The film department at fresh had been working mainly in the events and internal comms sector, but more recently has been commissioned to create content for commercials, social and external comms campaigns. We felt it was time to give this the love and resources it needed, and so Alchemy was born.’.

“We exist to help brands achieve their ambitions. With audiences turning away from traditional advertising channels, aligning themselves instead to a brand and its values, we see Alchemy at the heart of this advertising revolution” added Howells.

Spearheading this new and exciting project, Head of Film, Hayley Wildsmith told us “Alchemy speaks directly to a connected audience, one who are looking for value from the content they consume. We understand the world of story-telling and that brands need to be secondary to the subject matter. We are in an enviable position to have a division solely geared towards elevating untold stories.”

Howells added, “we will always be famous for delivering amazing live experiences, in addition great branded content finds ways to tell stories in ways that people haven’t experienced before, whilst also offering value to the audiences’ lives. This creativity with a purpose is already having real traction with new and existing clients.”

Based in Manchester, and with state of the art, purpose-built studios in Greenwich, London plus access to the best talent in the industry, Alchemy is an exciting new addition to The fresh Group of services and to the marketing landscape.
