Dr Linda Yueh is a former Chief business correspondent for the BBC, an economist, broadcaster and author, a Fellow in Economics at Oxford and a Professor of Economics at London Business School and on Friday 2nd October she’ll be bringing her wealth of expertise to the stage at The Great Manchester Economics Conference.

No stranger to the bright lights or studio audience Linda was the host of Talking Business with Linda Yueh and Economics Editor for Bloomberg TV. She’ll be discussing how China’s economic growth has transformed the country from one of the poorest in the world to it’s second largest economy.

Offering insight into recent speculation about growth in China, Linda will focus on drivers of growth for the Chinese economy and take a look at the devaluation of renminbi, property speculation and the banking crisis.
