pro-manchester are delighted to announce the full agenda for the Economics Conference 2017. It is a line up not to be missed. With influential guest speakers from across the region, the day will bring to light to questions about the economy and the future of the Greater Manchester region.

The pro-manchester Economics Conference will open its doors on the 13th October at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate. There will be a jam-packed agenda with insight from leading experts and influencers in the world of Economics.

This year, we will hear from key note speaker Anthony Light, Director at Oxford Economics discussing his thoughts on rising inflation, consumer spending, business confidence and investment. Joining him on stage will be Sir Richard Leese, Leader of Manchester City Council. Sir Richard will be airing his thoughts on the city’s prospects and the devolution agenda.

Mike Blackburn will delve deeper into these areas and sectors which may be at risk from a hard Brexit. Eamonn Boylan of Greater Manchester Combined Authority will be closing the day’s deliberations with his thoughts on the development of Great Manchester as one of the best places in the world to grow up, get on and grow old.
