Myerson Solicitors, a Top 200 UK law firm, has advised long-standing client Marshalls Yard Limited, a joint venture between Dransfield Properties and Prospect Estates, on the strategic refinancing of Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, a landmark mixed-use development that has become a model for regeneration and heritage-led placemaking.

The transaction was supported by Rothschild & Co under its investment management mandate with Just Group plc.

Myerson’s Real Estate team provided legal advice on aspects of the refinancing, working with the client’s in-house team and Rothschild’s solicitors.

Ian Gordon, Legal Director at Myerson, commented: “We are delighted to have provided support for this latest refinancing. I have personally been involved in this site from its inception over 20 years ago. Marshall’s Yard is an excellent example of town centre regeneration and we’re proud to play our part in the scheme’s continued development.”

Originally transformed from a former tractor works site, Marshall’s Yard today combines high-quality retail, leisure and office space in a beautifully restored heritage setting. The scheme continues to attract leading occupiers including M&S, Next, Costa Coffee, Vision Express and Holland & Barrett, as well as a number of independent businesses.

Myerson has acted for Dransfield Properties on a range of key projects across England, supporting the company’s award-winning regeneration work and its commitment to creating sustainable, community-focused developments.
