Name three words that describe your personality:
Tenacious, loyal, and down-to-earth.
What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?
Representing and connecting the professional services community in our city and region.
What are your priorities for 2025?
To keep healthy and happy and doing interesting work for great clients. To continue to grow the team in Manchester and in the wider firm (after some great new hires this year).
What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?
The continued development and inward investment and the ability to attract businesses to the region – it feels like the pace of that is picking up. The push to combine business growth with social and infrastructure regeneration and to present Manchester as a genuine international destination for business. I also love the fact that we are now talking seriously about an Underground system! It’s hopefully a sign of where we are at as a city.
Favourite meeting place in Manchester?
For business, the Octagon in the Midland or one of our great restaurants. For fun, the Old Nags Head, the Deansgate, and a special posthumous mention for the Knott!
Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?
Anyone who (or whose clients) may need legal support – particularly with their commercial and IT contracts and projects (especially tech or FS based companies and including those looking to operate internationally).
