UA92 Launches Degree Apprenticeship Pledge to Improve Access to Opportunities

13th February 2026, 11:13 am

UA92 is inviting employers to join its new Degree Apprenticeship Pledge, aimed at improving access to higher education and career opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds.

A recent report by the Education Policy Institute found that places at Russell Group universities are more accessible than degree apprenticeships for young people from areas of socio-economic deprivation.

In response, UA92 is offering ten employers the opportunity to create a new apprenticeship role within their organisation, helping to develop the next generation of talent.

From September 2026, participating organisations can become a UA92 employer partner and hire an apprentice undertaking a Level 6 degree apprenticeship in Data Science or Digital Marketing.

UA92 delivers apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships in Cyber, IT, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing and Multi-Channel Marketing, combining academic learning with practical, real-world experience and professional development.

This initiative gives employers the opportunity to build future-ready talent while offering life-changing career opportunities to individuals who may not otherwise be able to access higher education.
