Employers Urged to Prepare for April Reforms at Kuits’ HR Breakfast Club in Manchester

19th February 2026, 3:14 pm

HR professionals across the North West are being encouraged to prepare for significant employment law changes at the upcoming Kuits’ HR Breakfast Club in Manchester next month.

Hosted by Kuits Solicitors, the event will take place on Thursday 12 March 2026 at Blackfriars House in Manchester city centre, bringing together HR leaders and business decision-makers ahead of key reforms coming into force in April.

The breakfast briefing will provide a practical recap of the most significant changes affecting employers, including the reduced qualifying period for unfair dismissal rights and the removal of the statutory compensation cap — a move described as creating a potential “uncapped risk” for businesses.

With the countdown to implementation underway, speakers will outline the legal and operational implications of the reforms and advise employers on the steps they should be taking now to mitigate exposure and manage risk effectively.

The session will also provide an opportunity for networking, with attendees invited to connect with fellow HR professionals and put questions directly to Kuits’ employment law specialists.

The event runs from 8:30am to 10am at Blackfriars House, Manchester, M3 2JA.
