One thing people don’t realise about what we do

One thing people don’t always realise about what we do is just how much preparation goes into every stage of an event. From the early planning, to the details on the day, to making sure every guest has an amazing experience – it’s all carefully thought through. That behind-the-scenes work is massive, but it’s also what makes the final event so rewarding.

What is the best part of working with the Manchester business community? 

Every day is different. Some days I’m organising a lively networking session, other days it’s a large-scale event. The variety keeps things interesting and means there’s never a dull moment.

Coffee order or go-to lunch spot in Manchester?

When I need a break, you’ll often find me at Shirley’s in Lincoln Square, grabbing a coffee or enjoying a relaxed lunch. It’s my go-to spot in the city.

Favourite pro-manchester event and why? 

If I had to pick a favourite pro-manchester event, it would be the Summer Party. It’s so much fun – there’s a fantastic venue, creative cocktails and mocktails, and an energy that’s really infectious. It’s the kind of event that makes all the planning worth it.

What excites you most about the future of pro-manchester? 

Looking ahead, what excites me most about the future of pro-manchester is the growth of the team, our membership and the wider community. More people, more events, more opportunities to connect and collaborate – it just makes the work we do even more fun and rewarding.
