Introduce yourself 

I’ve spent over 20 years in the hospitality world, and I still love it as much as I did on day one. Hotels have always been my thing — the buzz, the people, the fact that no two days are ever the same.

As Director of Sales at The Manchester Deansgate, I’m lucky enough to represent a place that genuinely delivers real hospitality and memorable experiences. It’s easy to sell something you truly believe in.

Outside of work, my two big loves are travel and sport. I’ll watch or play pretty much anything, but nothing beats standing on the sidelines on a Saturday morning, cheering on my two boys as they play football.

Career highlight 

It’s great to come full circle and return to the hotel as Director of Sales after starting my career here in Manchester 20 years ago as an Events Supervisor.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

Manchester’s buzzing food and drink scene, the booming music scene with Coop Live, and the wave of new 5‑star hotels — including ours in 2027 — make it such an exciting time for the city

Favourite meeting place in Manchester

The Deansgate Pub – authentic Manchester hospitality, and it’s wonderful to see it brought back to life after being closed for so long.

Are there any types of businesses that you would like to meet?
