Member Spotlight: Jade Fellowes, Director & Head of Intermediaries, Suntera

Introduce yourself
Hello, I’m Jade Fellowes. I’ve spent more than 15 years working in corporate and private wealth structuring, with a focus on helping clients and their advisers build, run, and govern robust UK‑resident structures. In practice, that means acting as a trustee or director for busy, multi‑jurisdictional arrangements holding everything from real estate and operating businesses to investment portfolios and digital assets.
I am part of the team at Suntera, where we provide the full “engine room” needed to keep these structures effective and compliant throughout their lifecycle. This includes establishing SPVs, LLPs, FICs, Trusts, Sharia‑compliant financing structures, and family office platforms, through to delivering governance, cash management, accounting, tax coordination, and day‑to‑day administration across multiple jurisdictions.
Before relocating to the UK, I spent 11 years in Jersey working with international families, fund managers, developers, HNWI and institutional investors, which means I bring a deep understanding of both onshore and offshore environments. Suntera’s global footprint allows me to help clients and their advisers navigate cross‑border investments with confidence and consistency.
Being based in North West UK , and regularly in Manchester, gives me the opportunity to bring this international capability into one of the country’s fastest‑growing professional services hubs.
My role here is simple: to be a practical, solutions‑focused partner for local advisers, helping their clients access high‑quality structuring, governance and administration support delivered with global experience and on‑the‑ground UK presence.
Career highlight
I have been lucky in my career to have been given some wonderful opportunities at the firms I have worked. I once had the pleasure of travelling to Paris for a client who was a high-profile fashion designer, to attend their usual quarterly board meeting. But upon entry to their atelier, we were thrown into the mix of a private buyer’s fashion show – not bad for a company secretary job! Later on in my career, I moved back to UK to assist Suntera with setting up our UK offering which was another stand out moment for me. A new market to navigate (onshore) and a new government has been an interesting challenge, but the intermediary support system in the UK has been welcoming and generous with their knowledge and support.
Name three words that describe your personality
Honest, empathetic, client-focused
What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?
I have been pleasantly surprised since joining pro- Manchester in terms of the opportunities and help provided. As I’m based in the North West, I have attended some of their great events and been introduced to a new network. Manchester’s collaborative culture has been key to establishing Suntera UK’s foundations and helping us build meaningful, long‑term relationships.
My goal is to find partners to collaborate with, since I am not a salesperson, and I find Pro Mancs is of a similar mindset.
Pro Mancs really reflects what I love about Manchester – it’s warm, connected, and focused on genuine relationships rather than hard selling. It’s been the perfect platform to introduce Suntera UK to the region in a human, approachable way.
What are your priorities for 2026?
Although our brand goes back 40 years, we are relatively new and rapidly expanding in the UK market, making it an exciting time to raise our profile. Expanding our client base is key for growth, as well as nurturing and maintaining our relationships with existing valued clients. Of course, creating long-standing intermediary connections is also a big priority.
In Manchester specifically, our focus is on being visible, accessible and genuinely helpful, ensuring Suntera UK becomes a trusted partner for advisers and clients who need high‑quality administration, governance and structuring support. Manchester’s momentum aligns perfectly with the sectors we support.
What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?
I think many people outside the North West underestimate just how fast Manchester is accelerating. As of early 2026, Greater Manchester is recognised as the fastest-growing city-economy in the UK, underpinned by major momentum across FinTech, digital innovation, sports, and entertainment. The real estate market is especially dynamic – build‑to‑rent and purpose‑built student accommodation continue to attract substantial private equity interest, and some of the most recognisable national developers are now heavily investing in Manchester’s student housing sector. The scale, ambition and pace of activity here make it one of the most exciting professional and commercial environments in the country.
Favourite meeting place in Manchester
There are so many great options in Manchester. Recently I enjoyed Lina Stores for lunch and The Haunt is my regular for breakfast catch‑ups. If we have time, I’m keen to have a Padel meeting. That said, I’m always keen to try somewhere new – recommendations welcome!
Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?
We’re keen to meet intermediaries, businesses and advisers who see value in having a trusted fiduciary partner to support their structuring, governance, or administration needs. In practice, that often means working with legal and tax advisers on the implementation of real estate, corporate, private wealth, or family‑office structures for their clients.
With Companies House reforms accelerating the shift towards outsourced governance and administrative support, we also partner with:
- Real estate developers, investors and asset managers
- Professional services firms – particularly in law, tax, accountancy, corporate finance and insolvency
- Owner‑managed businesses and scaling companies
- Family offices and private clients
