Logros Advisory Partners is pleased to announce that it has successfully advised the shareholders of Drainage Advisory Services and Assistance Limited (DASA) on the sale of the business to Sigo Group
DASA is a well-established UK provider of drainage services, leak detection and water infrastructure solutions, operating across the insurance, commercial and residential sectors. Founded over 40 years ago, the business has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, operational delivery and long-standing client relationships.
The transaction represents a significant milestone for Darryl Gartley, enabling him to realise value from a business built over several decades, while securing a long-term future for the company, its employees and its customers.
Sigo Group and its adviser, Jeremy Carr, identified DASA as an attractive platform investment, recognising its strong operational foundations and its positioning within the UK insurance supply chain and infrastructure services sector. The acquisition supports a broader strategy to build a group of market-leading service providers, underpinned by investment in technology and operational infrastructure.
The transaction also provides continuity for the business, with Chris Edwards, Managing Director, continuing to lead DASA under new ownership and supporting the next phase of growth. The structure of the transaction provides both immediate value realisation and ongoing participation in future growth, aligning interests and supporting the continued development of the business.
Brian Higgins, Corporate Finance Partner at Logros Advisory Partners, led the transaction and worked closely with Darryl Gartley throughout the process, providing end-to-end support including financial analysis and positioning, buyer engagement, negotiation and execution.
Darryl Gartley commented: “This marks an important milestone after many years building DASA. I’m pleased to see the business move into its next phase with a strong partner in place. The support from Logros throughout the process was invaluable in helping us achieve a successful outcome.”
Chris Edwards commented: “DASA represents a compelling opportunity to build on a well-established business with strong foundations and a clear position within the insurance supply chain. I am excited to continue working with the team as we support the next phase of growth, including investment in technology and the development of a broader group of complementary services.”
Brian Higgins, Logros Advisory Partners, added: “DASA is a high-quality, long-established business with strong fundamentals and clear growth potential. This transaction highlights continued demand for well-positioned businesses in essential service sectors, particularly those embedded within the insurance supply chain. We are delighted to have supported Darryl and his family in achieving this outcome.”
