Henry Mawhood Promoted to Associate at Fisher German

A leading property consultancy has announced the promotion of a telecoms and sustainability expert in its Manchester office.
Off the back of a successful year for the team, Fisher German has promoted Henry Mawhood to the position of Associate.
Henry first joined the business in November 2022 as a surveyor within the telecoms consultancy team, where he continues to play a key role in the team’s ongoing success. In this capacity, he has worked with a range of colleagues and clients across the firm, acting for landowners with telecoms apparatus on their land or buildings.
In September 2025, Henry also began working within Fisher German’s sustainable energy team. He has played a pivotal role supporting both teams during a period of significant growth, bringing his specialist expertise to projects across both sectors.
His position has seen him advising and supporting a wide range of landowners, from farmers through to real estate investment trusts, on a wide range of agreements for energy and telecoms projects across the UK.
In recent months his focus has broadened further towards building a team specifically focussed on data centre development, as the market experiences substantial expansion, driven by cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation.
Reflecting on his promotion, Henry said: “I am very proud to be promoted. It feels like a significant milestone and recognition of the work, commitment, and growth I’ve invested over the past couple of years.
“It is motivating to see that the contribution I make to projects, clients, and the wider team have been recognised, and it gives me real momentum for the next stage of my career.
“Looking ahead, my aim it to continue developing my technical expertise and leadership skills, taking on more responsibility across the business. My goals are to progress into senior leadership positions, while also supporting junior colleagues to grow in the business.”
Henry’s promotion is among dozens that have been announced across the business, with Fisher German staying committed to its partnership structure as its presence across the UK strengthens.
In total, Fisher German LLP has promoted 77 colleagues across all areas of the company after a busy start to 2026.
The year has already seen the firm win a major contract to deliver a range of consultancy services for Great British Energy – Nuclear as it builds the UK’s first small
modular nuclear reactor at Wylfa in north Wales. Fisher German has also continued high-quality instructions in its agency, advisory, infrastructure and property management divisions.
For Henry, Fisher German’s long-standing commitment to career development within the company is a big reason behind this success.
