I’m Rob Moxey; I am the Finance Director at Embryo. I have worked in accounting & finance for nearly 15 years and specialize in marketing agency reporting; having helped several Manchester based agencies on their growth journeys.
Career highlight
Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant after nearly 5 years of studying around my full time job was a highlight.

The sheer number & variety of events means there is always something on to get into for inspiration or building connections across Manchester businesses.
What are your priorities for 2026?
Helping Embryo realise its goals for 2026 and supporting through my position. Personally I need to become more active and get back up the Park Run rankings!
What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?
The realisation from investors that the city has potential to challenge London for supremacy on so many levels; the amount of development in the last few years is very important to our growth.
Favourite meeting place in Manchester
Kargo MKT in Media City has one of my favourite eating places.
Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?
Airlines or travel industry businesses; it’s a personal interest of mine and I’d like to meet & learn more about how they operate and their future plans.
