FREE Public Heart Health Session at Junction, Manchester Central

8th May 2026, 1:03 pm

Join the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) for a free, hands-on community session to help you understand heart health and potentially save a life.

Taking place at Junction, Manchester Central on Monday 1 June from 12noon – 1pm, you’ll learn how to recognise when someone is having a cardiac arrest, watch a live CPR demonstration and learn how to use a defibrillator (AED).

In addition, you will find out why people need pacemakers, how they’re fitted and what life looks like living with one, before practicing CPR on a real dummy and using an AED training device.

No experience needed – suitable for all ages. Registration is advised as spaces are limited: https://britishcardiovascularsociety.org.uk/free-public-heart-health-session-2026/.
