Since opening in November 2025, our Manchester office has continued to grow, with a number of experienced lawyers joining the firm across real estate, corporate, conveyancing, business immigration and litigation.

Meet Napthens Manchester’s Legal Team

Our Manchester team includes:

Krista Powell, Head of the Manchester Office & Partner, Real Estate

Krista joined Napthens in November 2025 and leads the development of the firm’s Manchester office. Krista has a wealth of experience, with over 20 years advising on a wide range of commercial property matters, including acting for investors and developers across a variety of sectors.

Nicola Meakin, Legal Director, Corporate

Nicola joined in January 2026, advising businesses on corporate transactions and strategic growth. Nicola is incredibly commercially orientated, having provided solutions to clients in manufacturing, automotive, retail and beyond, including commercial contracts, intellectual property and data protection.

Roxanne Buckley, Senior Associate, Immigration (AfterAthena)

Roxanne’s history with Napthens began in 2015 as an Employment Law Solicitor. Roxanne launched a career in law in Manchester but relocated from the firm’s Preston office to be a part of our Manchester story as part of our AfterAthena immigration team.

Onyeka Obidi, Solicitor, Residential Conveyancing

Onyeka joined the firm in May 2025 and leads the Manchester residential conveyancing team, supporting clients across the city and wider Greater Manchester region. Onyeka brings international pedigree to the Manchester team, qualified to practice as a solicitor and barrister in Nigeria as well as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Francesca Geddes, Associate Solicitor, Litigation

Francesca joined the firm in January 2026, splitting her time between our Preston and Manchester offices. Francesca possesses over a decade’s worth of legal expertise, bringing commercial litigation to the Manchester team by advising both claimants and defendants on a range of dispute resolution matters.

Orla Walshe, Paralegal, Commercial Property

Orla joined the team in February 2026, providing support in relation to commercial real estate transactions for clients across the region.

Amena Alam, Licensed Conveyancer, Residential Conveyancing

Amena joined in February 2026, providing residential conveyancing expertise to homebuyers and property investors. Amena brings over 15 years of legal expertise and has also acted as a residential property consultant to boot.

Misba Zeb, Solicitor, Residential Conveyancing

Misba joined in March 2026, further strengthening our residential property offering in Manchester.

Hosting Our First Manchester Mixer Event

Napthens is delighted to be hosting its very first Manchester Mixer, bringing together clients, intermediaries and professional contacts from across the region to celebrate the opening of our Manchester office.

The event marks an important milestone for the firm and reflects our continued commitment to supporting businesses, individuals and property clients across Greater Manchester and the North West.
