The Menopause Charity is a UK-based charity dedicated to educating everybody so that perimenopause and menopause are understood, and no one suffers needlessly. We provide trusted, evidence-based information and education for individuals, workplaces, and healthcare professionals.
Did you know that one in ten women have quit their jobs due to menopause symptoms, and an estimated 14 million working days are lost each year as a result? The impact on individuals and on businesses is significant.
To support organisations, we are offering menopause awareness webinars for a suggested donation. These sessions employees and organisationsthe knowledge and confidence to better support menopause at work while helping organisations gain healthier, more engaged, and more inclusive teams.
This one-hour webinar, delivered by our CEO Jenny Haskey, will cover:
- What menopause is, common symptoms, and its impact on future health
- Treatment and lifestyle options that can help manage symptoms, and how to access support
- How menopause symptoms can affect someone at work, and how to talk about this confidently with colleagues
- How managers and teams can create supportive, inclusive workplaces
There will also be time for a short Q&A at the end of the session. Please note that this webinar is for education and awareness purposes and does not provide individual or clinical advice.
Menopause affects millions of people in the UK workforce, yet many still feel unable to talk openly or access appropriate support. By hosting a webinar, your organisation can give meaningful support to employees while gaining improved wellbeing, retention of experienced talent, and a more inclusive workplace culture.
We would be delighted to discuss how we could deliver a menopause awareness webinar for your organisation, tailored to your workforce and priorities.
