My name is Gavriela Park and I’m the Sales & Events Manager for Professionals at Play, overseeing our Roxy Ball Room, King Pins and Star Pins venues in Manchester and Liverpool.

Professionals at Play is one of the UK’s leading experiential leisure businesses. Since launching in 2013, the company has grown significantly and now operates two divisions, Roxy Leisure and Pins Leisure, with venues including Roxy Ball Room, Roxy Lanes, King Pins and Star Pins. We specialise in bringing people together through competitive socialising, creating memorable experiences for corporate events, team building, networking, client entertainment and celebrations.

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

What are your priorities for 2026?

My priorities for 2026 are to continue growing our corporate events business across Manchester and Liverpool, strengthen relationships with existing clients, and build new partnerships through the pro-manchester network. We’re focused on helping businesses create engaging experiences that bring teams, clients and contacts together, while continuing to showcase our venues as go-to destinations for corporate events and social occasions.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

Manchester continues to be one of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious cities. The ongoing investment in infrastructure, business growth and regeneration is creating new opportunities across a range of sectors. The city’s ability to attract talent, innovation and major businesses makes it a thriving place to work, live and connect, while its strong collaborative business community continues to drive success across the region.

Favourite meeting place in Manchester

Junction by Manchester Central. It’s a great spot for a coffee, an informal catch-up and building new connections.

Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

I’d love to connect with businesses of all sizes that are looking for unique venues for team events, client entertainment, networking functions, celebrations or company socials. I’m also keen to meet event agencies, HR professionals, office managers and business leaders who are looking for fresh and engaging ways to bring people together.
