Independent full-service marketing agency CNS Media has launched the search for a new Managing Director as the business looks to build on a period of sustained growth.
Founded in Chesterfield in 2006, CNS Media has grown into a multi-disciplinary agency spanning media, digital, creative and production services, helping brands connect with audiences through integrated campaigns designed to deliver measurable results.
With a team of more than 43 specialists and offices in Chesterfield, Manchester and Birmingham, the agency was recently ranked among Campaign’s Top 50 media agencies and named Media Buying Agency of the Year at the Global Agency Awards.
The new Managing Director will work closely with the Board and senior leadership team to drive the next stage of the agency’s growth, overseeing commercial performance, business development and operational leadership across the business.
The appointment follows a period of strong commercial momentum for CNS Media, driven by a growing portfolio of regional, national and international clients, continued investment across media, digital and creative services, and the recent opening of a new Manchester city centre office.
To support that growth, the agency has also expanded its team in recent months, welcoming five new hires since January 2026 across marketing, SEO, paid search and business development, alongside a number of internal promotions.
Andy Hattersley, Joint CEO at CNS Media, said:
“As we’ve continued to grow, we’ve reached an exciting point in our journey where we’re looking for a Managing Director to help lead the business through its next chapter.
“We’ve built an exceptional team, developed long-standing client relationships and established a strong reputation within the industry. We’re now looking for someone who can bring fresh thinking, commercial leadership and the experience to help shape what comes next.
“This is a rare opportunity to join an independent agency with genuine momentum, a talented team and ambitious plans for the future.”
The successful candidate will lead the agency’s senior management team while helping shape the long-term strategic direction of the business, working alongside CNS Media’s Board to support continued growth across media, digital and creative services.
