This degree apprenticeship is open to both school/college leavers starting their careers and existing employees looking to upskill.

The Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship enables apprentices to act as a social conscience for the organisation. They contribute to innovation and drive ambitions for social and environmental change, making these a reality that are embedded and implemented across the organisation.

In recognition of the critical role education and skills play in responding to climate change, this apprenticeship has been selected as one of six green apprenticeships in honour of King Charles’ coronation. This gold-standard, sustainable apprenticeship will help develop and meet the demand for green skills across all sectors and industries.

The programme blends academic learning with direct workplace application. Apprentices benefit from both tutor-supported online study, designed to fit around workplace demands and the full on-campus experience, with study blocks for every topic delivered at the university.

Upon completion, apprentices will gain a Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) Sustainability and Social Impact Professional.

Apprentices can also join the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, the UK’s professional body for practitioners whilst undertaking their apprenticeship (£30 annual membership fee applies).
