Looking to develop skilled construction professionals while growing your own talent pipeline?
Manchester Metropolitan University’s new Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship gives employers a work-based route to developing future construction leaders, with two pathways:
- Quantity surveying
- Construction project management
The programme lasts four years, followed by an End-Point Assessment (EPA). During this time, apprentices develop expertise in commercial management, cost and risk, procurement, contracts and project delivery, sustainability, digital tools and modern construction methods.
Designed to fit around the workplace, apprentices attend campus for just four days per module, supported by online learning and webinars. This blended approach combines face-to-face teaching with flexibility for employers.
It’s a practical way to develop existing employees or attract new talent, while supporting workforce diversity and helping address construction skills shortages.
