A Route to Growth for the North – 25 Years of Manchester Airport’s Second Runway

On Friday 14, August Manchester Airport launched a landmark report marking the 25th anniversary of the Airport’s second runway.

The report explores the role international connectivity has played in supporting city-regions across the North to attract more tourists, investors and students, while strengthening trade links, academic collaboration and international partnerships. It also highlights the importance of public and private sector collaboration in driving regional prosperity and considers the opportunities ahead to build on this progress and unlock the North’s full potential.
