Innovation Marketplace – pro-manchester Member Opportunities with Sister

29th October 2026, 3:58 pm

At Sister, Manchester’s innovation district, we are currently inviting established businesses to put forward challenges as part of our Innovation Marketplace programme.

The programme is designed to help organisations identify and engage with innovative SMEs and technology companies that may be able to solve a live business challenge. This could include areas such as digital transformation, process automation, AI and data, customer experience, productivity, sustainability or other opportunities where adopting novel technology could create a meaningful impact.

We are particularly interested in hearing from organisations that:

  • Have a clear business or operational challenge they are looking to address
  • Are open to adopting or testing new technology from innovative SMEs
  • Have the internal capacity and senior sponsorship to engage with potential solutions
  • Are typically established organisations of around 200+ employees, although we are happy to consider other suitable businesses

There is no cost for a company to put forward a challenge or take part in the initial challenge-matching process.

Sister will work with participating organisations to help define the challenge, take it to an innovation ecosystem of relevant technology companies, and identify potential solution providers for further discussion.

We have created a short Google Form for any pro-manchester members interested in finding out more or discussing a potential challenge:

https://forms.gle/3upVzHXYSdheXMjG9

There is no commitment at this stage. Completing the form simply allows us to follow up, understand the organisation and explore whether there is a suitable challenge for the programme.
