pro-manchester to discuss progress of devolution at our Economics Conference

Thursday, 12th July 2018

Save the date! Our Economics Conference is taking place at The Lowry Hotel on Thursday 18th October 2018.

Now in it’s fourth year, the pro-manchester Economics Conference is back! Once again we will focus on the economics of Greater Manchester with eight great themes to drive the agenda.

We’ll be covering topics such as devolution, employment, inclusive growth, housing, commercial real estate and much more.

Join us to understand more about Greater Manchester’s Economy as we review plans and objectives for the region in the current year and in the years ahead. We will be joined by local authority leaders, economists and leading businesses with an interest in the city region.

Dr John Ashcroft, pro-manchester Chief Executive and author of The Saturday Economist said: “We are really looking forward to seeing how well the Greater Manchester devolution has benefitted our region. Last year our conference focused on the Greater Manchester economy and it was hugely successful. We expect even more success this year, with the introduction of the ‘Greater Manchester Balanced Scorecard’. It is going to be of huge interest to business and to the Greater Manchester community.”
