We are delighted to announce that Cowgills is sponsoring the 2019 North West Construction Awards.

Now in its 13thyear the awards showcase built environment excellence across England and Wales and play an important role in recognising and inspiring high standards in the sector.

This year the awards ceremony will be held in Liverpool on Friday 12thJuly at The Titanic Hotel in Liverpool. The event is attended by around 450 of the region’s leading property and construction companies and our specialist team will be there on the night to celebrate the achievements of individuals, companies, organisations and projects across the north west.

The North West Construction Awards are produced in partnership with the University of Salford and Constructing Excellence North West. Winners from the NW event will go forward to the national finals which take place each November in London.

Commenting on the announcement, Cowgills Property and Construction partner Stuart Stead said: “We are proud to be sponsoring the awards which are now well-established in the region. We work with housebuilders, property developers and construction firms across the north west and so are delighted to be able to play a part in recognising the year’s best achievements and helping to raise standards in the industry.”

Last year 18 awards were presented for outstanding examples of best practice, commitment, and collaborative and sustainable project delivery across the built environment.

Head judge Professor Peter McDermott from the University of Salford said: “It is a privilege to witness how the sector in the North West is responding to both the challenges of the market place and a changing policy environment.

“The North West’s clients and supply chains are not waiting around, they are driving change themselves through excellence in procurement and through new business models. We look forward to meeting all of our finalists at the awards ceremony in July and showcasing the talent we have in the region.”
