Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is leading on the development and delivery of the GM Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) – an initiative from the Department for Education that aims to align training and skills provision with employer needs. As part of the Chamber’s research for the GM LSIP, it has produced a report for every borough in Greater Manchester detailing each area’s skills requirements, now and in the future. The team has collated information about high-demand roles, analysed the major investment projects taking place in each borough, and listed the jobs that will be created as a result of these developments. Learn more about projects such as Sister, MIX Manchester and the Manchester Town Hall Refurbishment, and see how each region’s skills requirements compare: https://www.gmlsip.co.uk/local-reports
