Member Spotlight: Belinda Daniels, Business Development Manager, Hilton Smythe

1. Introduce yourself– Hi, I’m Belinda Daniels, Business Development Manager at Hilton Smythe. I am solely responsible for building strong relationships between parties, identifying new opportunities and partners, and ensuring our company continues to lead with its corporate and social commitments. My role allows me to connect with businesses across the UK and spread the word about the values that make Hilton Smythe stand out.

2. Career highlight -My standout moment in my career must be transitioning from luxury retail into the business and finance advisory world. I am currently managing one of our largest finance deals to date, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to introduce, handle and progress this deal through my BDM role, it’s always great to continue generating new business through long term relationships.

3. Name three words that describe your personality – Fabulous, funny & helpful, as described by the team.

4. What’s the best thing about pro- Manchester, the connections, collaborations, how you embrace a diverse and inclusive culture, bringing together like-minded individuals who are passionate about business within the Manchester area, and you always get a very warm welcome from the team.

4. What are your priorities for 2025– My priorities in 2025 are to continue building my connections and further grow Hilton Smythe’s presence here in Manchester. I want to develop lifelong strategic partnerships which become beneficial for all parties involved.

6. What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?
Manchester’s ongoing investment in property, technology and sustainability is exciting, being able to watch everything grow at such a fast pace is so rewarding to watch, its reshaping the region and the effect it has on creating opportunities for businesses and our community is fantastic.

7. Favorite meeting place in Manchester- I love meeting at The Midland or Louis! A touch of class and glamour balanced with professionalism and atmosphere.

8.Are there any particular types of business that you would like to meet
I am always keen to connect with SME’s, anybody in professional services, or anyone who is looking to grow, exit or finance, whether it’s yourself or your client, I would love to hear from them.
