Myerson Strengthens Team with Partner Promotions and New Talent

Altrincham, Greater Manchester, 1st September 2025 – Myerson, a Top 200 UK law firm, has announced a new round of promotions and the arrival of its latest cohort of trainees and apprentices, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most attractive employers in the North West.

Reflecting the firm’s continued growth from its single-site office in Altrincham, two senior lawyers have been promoted to Partner: Eleanor Clarke in Contentious Probate and Richard Meehan in Commercial.

Eleanor, who joined Myerson in 2018, specialises in high-value and complex probate disputes, including will challenges, trust disputes and Inheritance Act claims. This year, she earned recognition in the prestigious Chambers High Net Worth Guide for the first time.

Richard, who joined the firm in 2022, advises on a broad range of commercial contracts and heads Myerson’s Technology sector. He advises on supply and distribution agreements, licensing, and IT services for clients from SaaS providers to national retailers.

Another senior appointment is Sarah Whitelegge, who has been promoted to Legal Director in the Family team. Sarah advises on children matters, financial settlements and domestic violence cases, and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist and trained Collaborative Lawyer.

Beyond these senior promotions, Myerson is continuing to invest in nurturing home-grown talent. Four team members have stepped up to Senior Associate or Senior Executive roles, with a further ten promoted to Associate positions.

At the entry level, the firm is welcoming its fourth cohort of legal apprentices, bringing the total to eight, and four new trainees, following a 75% retention rate of its qualifying trainees this year.
