This exclusive event brings together industry professionals, innovators, and enthusiasts to unpack emerging trends, regulatory shifts, and the opportunities shaping the next wave of financial services all while connecting with influential leaders who are defining the future of finance. Join pro-manchester and our expert panels as we discuss what Manchester has to offer fintech businesses.

Panel session:

This session will explore the latest UK regulatory developments, including ongoing FCA consultations on crypto-asset treatment and HMRC’s data-sharing requirements for exchanges introduced in January 2024, with enforcement set to begin in January 2027. Panellists will examine the implications of these changes for market participants, address the widespread issue of incorrect crypto reporting by individuals, and discuss the growing focus on consumer and investor protection.

Fireside session:

This panel will explore how AI and Open Banking intersect in today’s financial ecosystem, examining real-world use cases alongside the regulatory frameworks that shape them. Industry experts will discuss how financial institutions, fintechs, and regulators can strike the right balance between innovation, compliance, and consumer trust. From data access and privacy to model transparency and regulatory readiness, the conversation will offer practical insights into navigating a rapidly evolving landscape.
