Sale Sharks have signed a deal with Manchester-based IPEX to become the club’s new official Digital Transformation Partner.

The three-year agreement has seen IPEX, which was formed in 2017 and counts the NHS among its clients, overhaul the telephone and IT infrastructure at the club’s Carrington training ground.

And the IPEX logo has taken pride of place on the rear of the team’s playing shorts for the 2025/26 Gallagher Prem, Prem Rugby Cup and Investec Champions Cup fixtures.

IPEX will also be the official player sponsor of Sharks, England and British and Irish Lions hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie.

Sharks’ Commercial Director Luisa D’Aprano said: “We’re delighted to welcome Dan and Adam and the IPEX team to the Sharks Family.

“Northern brands matter and we’re committed to supporting local businesses that match our club values.

“We’re an ambitious club, striving to be the best on and off the pitch. That means partnering with the best and I’m confident that we’ve got that in IPEX.

“The IPEX team has already started working with us to implement best in class transformational systems to allow us to work better and safer. I’m really excited to see how the partnership develops in the future.”

IPEX Director Dan Cheesbrough said: “As a Manchester-based company, partnering with Sale Sharks is a perfect match.

“We share a commitment to strength, innovation, and teamwork, and we’re proud to support a local team that exemplifies excellence on and off the pitch. Being a massive fan of the club makes this partnership even more special to me.”
