Deloitte’s Annual Review of Football Finance
A presentation of the key findings from the 30th edition of Deloitte’s Annual Review of Football Finance, examining the 2019/20 season. The first season impacted by the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sports Business Group will be presenting the key trends seen in this edition, the impact of COVID-19 and what this may mean for the future of European club football. The report was released in late July 2021 and Deloitte are pleased to be presenting on the 19th August.
About the Speakers:
Zal is a Manager in the Sports Business Group. Since joining the group Zal has been involved in a variety of financial and strategic projects including the financial due diligence for the acquisition of an English Football League club and has assisted investors with the appraisal of the acquisition of a major European Football Club.
Zal has been heavily involved in the production of the Annual Review of Football Finance for the past two editions.
Sumeet is a Manager in the Sports Business Group and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, with experience of working in both Transaction Services and Corporate Finance.
Since joining the group, Sumeet has worked on a variety of global sports projects covering football, rugby and tennis, including the vendor due diligence for an elite European football club, secondment to World Rugby as a Strategic Project Manager and a global public tender process to find a new host with a view to relocating the Next Gen ATP Finals.
Sumeet is also sub-editor of one of the Sports Business Group’s leading publications, the Annual Review of Football Finance.
