Freeformers will be delivering four workshops on key themes. Participants are welcome to attend just 1 or all 4 workshops within the day. Just book on to the sessions you want to attend. Refreshments will be provided throughout.
Innovation - 09.45 - 11.00
Come up with your next big idea and prototype it! The innovation session ignites participants’ digital mindsets by using innovation as a tool to come up with solutions to your problems in life and work. By the end of the session participants: generate ideas, solve problems, design a tech solution and build a prototype of solution. All in 70 minutes. Participants will learn the techniques of innovation called Design Thinking. This is a process used by businesses worldwide, including industry leaders such as Facebook, Apple and Google. This session shares insider tips that can be applied to both professional and personal lives.

Cyber security - 11.15 - 12.30
Tips to make you safer online! This cyber session ignites participants’ digital mindsets by taking them through a process to understand their vulnerabilities on the web, and the core methods to protect themselves. It enables participants to see why cyber security is relevant to them, and how to protect themselves and/or their business.

This Data session ignites participants’ digital mindsets by giving them the tools they need to make more effective decisions based on data, illustrating the importance of this way of thinking, and showing them how to embed data-informed decision making into their life and work.

Artificial Intelligence - 14.45 - 16.00
This AI and automation session ignites participants’ digital mindsets by giving them the a basic understanding of concepts and terms related to AI and automation and what the differences are. It then moves on to focus on simple algorithms and have participants create one of their own before finishing up looking at more sophisticated types of AI and the likely impact they will have on participants’ lives and work.
