Masterclass: Personal Branding – a superpower or just super hard work?
Ever wondered why some people always seem to be ‘in the room’ when important decisions are made? How some people seem to know everyone, and are known by everyone? How some people are always called upon to speak on platforms or the media? Ultimately, how some people seem to be able to make good things happen for themselves and/or their companies/the organisations they’re involved with?
In this Masterclass, Sandy Lindsay MBE will share the things she’s picked up – accidentally and intentionally – over 20 years of running successful businesses, volunteering on boards of leading charities and supporting and promoting some of the worlds’ leading brands.
About the Speakers:
Sandy launched Tangerine Communications in 2002 and, in 2017, when Tangerine turned 15, she fulfilled a launch promise by announcing it was to become an Employee Owned Partnership with 64% of its shares now owned by (the now nearly 90) Tangerine employees – ‘partners’.
Sandy is passionate about creating quality career opportunities for young people and has launched and grown several job creation programmes over the years. Her latest – The Juice Academy which is a not for profit social media apprenticeship has created more than 400 roles in leading businesses across the North West.
In 2015 Sandy was awarded an MBE for services to business and young people and was named North West IOD Director of the Year.
Her NED/Board Advisory portfolio includes the Rugby Football League, Northcoders and Flock. She is Vice Chair of Forever Manchester and is on the Business Leadership Council of TeachFirst in the North West. She chairs the skills & talent group and is Vice Chair of the North West Business Leadership Team. She’s a tech investor … oh and during lockdown, Sandy and her Tangerine Board launched another business – Vine Insights.
