It can be hard to know how to talk to your child about online safety. From setting up parental controls to advice on sexting, online games and video apps, we can help you to understand the risks and keep your child safe.

The NSPCC’s ‘Keeping children safe online’ session will teach you how to help kids explore their favourite apps, games and sites safely. Our workshop will:

  • help you understand how children experience the online world
  • show you resources and tools that could help keep them safe
  • empower you to guide them on their journey

About the Speakers:

Helen Westerman Head of Local Campaigns - NSPCC

Helen has been designing and delivering local safeguarding campaigns across the North of England in partnership with LSCBs, Local Authorities, Police and a range of voluntary sector organisations for over 15 years. She has a wealth of experience in safeguarding children.
