About the Speakers:
Alastair is the Founder of EZHR, a HR solution that aims to “lower the barrier of entry to really good advice”.
He’s actively involved in the Manchester area start-up and tech ecosystem, working with cutting edge technology clients on how to use better outcomes with nonstandard solutions. He is also Co-Chair of the Pro Manchester innovation Committee.
Through EZHR, he supports founders and small businesses with straightforward HR and employment-law solutions — from onboarding, contractor vs employee distinctions, to managing disciplinary issues and redundancy processes.
Prior to launching EZHR, Alastair spent 15 years working in-house across multiple sectors — including blue-chip FMCG and manufacturing businesses as well as global BPO organisations. His roles spanned several HR specialties: employee relations, organisational change, development, TUPE, and business disposal.
