Adam Farricker CEO - Empower Manchester and Salford Youth Zone

Drawing on over two decades of experience in the youth work sector, Adam Farricker, the CEO of Empower Manchester and Salford Youth Zone (launching in 2025), believes in the transformative power of collaborating with businesses and individuals to enhance social value and impact. Recognising the importance of intertwining charitable endeavours with corporate initiatives, Adam understands that forging partnerships between businesses and charities is not only beneficial for the organisations involved but also plays a pivotal role in fostering positive change in the lives of young individuals.

Adam’s commitment to supporting the next generation has positioned him as a visionary leader. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to bringing about positive change in the youth work sector. Under his guidance, Hideout Youth Zone has thrived, transforming into a dynamic hub for both personal and communal growth. Jen Gillies Pemberton CEO - ANTZ

Jen Gillies Pemberton is the Founder and CEO of ANTZ. Since 2008, Jen has been a leader in social value in the UK. ANTZ is a business-led and community-driven organisation. ANTZ works with organisations to align their commercial and social strategies.

Over the last 15 years ANTZ has developed a Responsible Framework, a 7-point plan that enables organisations to deliver social value in a person-centred, responsible way, managing risks to individuals and organisations. At the same time, it supports the achievement social value procurement objectives to ensure that ANTZ’s clients/partners win/retain commercial contracts.

Jen understands the vital link between businesses and community impact, recognising the role businesses and procurement play in reducing costs to society and changing lives both in and out of work.

Adam Warriner JD Foundation Manager - JD Foundation

Adam has taken on the leadership role at the JD Foundation, the official charity of JD Sports.  

Since 2022, he has focused on a comprehensive relaunch, This entailed a thorough overhaul of the Foundation’s vision, mission, and goals, with an unwavering commitment to empowering young people to achieve their unlimited potential. 

 

Working alongside a dedicated board of trustees, the JD Foundation has made substantial financial commitments in the multiple-millions. At the same time, they are developing their own impactful initiatives while extending support to key organisations within the UK’s voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. 

 

Looking ahead to 2024, JD Foundation anticipates a significant year as they solidify their role as a key funder in the VCSE sector. Their focus remains on providing opportunities for young people and supporting the communities in which they reside, work, and thrive.
