About the Speakers:
An award-winning marketer and entrepreneur, with 15 years’ experience in the technology, retail, mobile and banking sectors. In 2009, Kimberley co-founded international communications agency SkyParlour. Ten years on, from its base in central Manchester, the business has amassed Fintech clients around the world from Palo Alto, to Munich, to Jakarta and back again to Cheadle.
Kimberley is co-chair of the pro manchester Fintech committee and industry advisor to the University of Salford Fintech MSc programme. She is also an active member of the Founders for Schools initiative and presents the Future of Banking podcast.
Anish joined AccessPay in 2015. A graduate of Manchester University, he began his career as a chartered accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers but has since been at the forefront of Manchester’s technological expansion, involved in a series of fast growth and merger and acquisition activity. A co-founder of TeleCity in 1997, Kapoor oversaw exponential growth with the company turning over in excess of $50 million within three years, encompassing a team of more than 500 across 17 data centres in 12 different countries.
By 2004 Kapoor had turned his attention to a collection of ambitious start-ups, co-founding web conferencing and screen sharing company Yuuguu that, prior to being sold to European telecoms giant Powwownow, was acquiring a new user every 30 seconds. He joined the AccessPay team in its start-up phase as a strategic adviser to the board and senior team, guiding the company’s hyper growth period. Leading on issues of finance, investor liaison and sales operations; CEO Anish is now helping steer AccessPay into its next phase of mature growth.
Mark Robinson is an Insurance Broker specialising in the Technology, Financial Risk and Online Gambling sectors. He works closely with companies to understand their risk profile and ensure exposure to loss is mitigated via a range of specialist insurance products.
Mark has worked with major Blue-Chip organisations across Europe to design and develop specialist insurance policies tailored to their individual needs. This has included Cyber/Data Insurance programs.
Lee has worked as COO for Raisin for the past 4 years. He has over 17 years experience and achieved an excellent record of delivering large scale projects utilising cutting edge technologies, delivering digital marketing strategies, leading change within established businesses and establishing best practice in the creation of new start ups.
Lee’s specialities include systems design and development. systems architecture, digital marketing across a broad range of spectrums including SEO and SMO. Leadership, people management, motivation, training and coaching. Influence across a broad spectrum of client, employee and business relationships. Commercial business management encompassing full P&L, budgeting & risk mitigation.
David is an authority on IT, outsourcing and technology-driven procurement,with a particular focus on clients in financial services and the technology sector. David regularly acts as lead advisor for customer and suppliers to deliver complex and strategic technology projects, collaborations and commercial contracts of all shapes and sizes. He is ranked as a leading individual in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500, the independent guides to the legal profession.David is a published author and speaker who is regularly sought out for his industry insights. In 2018 David co-authored a ground-breaking research report on Open Banking, which is shaping the future of financial services.
